Growing up in a low ses family has made me experience a lot of “insufficient funds” in sudden situations that are extremely costly. I grew up witnessing my family wasting money on unnecessary things, instead of properly saving them for emergency purposes. When things happen, everyone just panics and borrows money. The feeling of being stuck in this environment was a toxic cycle that I want to break out of.
Now that I am older and finally working full-time, I want to be able to independently rely on myself in terms of finance. I am always worried that my loved ones will be hugely burdened by financial costs if something were to happen to me. At the same time, I start to have a lot more responsibilities that really have a lot of costs and it’s a matter of time before it increases exponentially. Hence, I decided that it is time I put some of my income to good use. Through this way, I am not just helping myself to save cost but also making sure that my loved ones will not have to break their pockets for me.
Kaine is a natural therapist. Before he even sat me through the finance portion, he gave me a safe and comfortable space to share with him about my life experiences and the struggles that I am facing. Instead of judging or passively hearing, he was really attentive and used the right choices of words that made me feel comforted.
From there, he guided me through the financial portion and explained to me how different aspects of it will help with my struggles. This itself has helped me a lot and after getting my very first insurance at 25 years old (last year), many burdens were lifted off my shoulders. I no longer fear the day where something happens to me and I need to worry or burden my loved ones regarding finance. My goal in life is to not become like my family who fights over money and have no urgency over savings. Thanks to Kaine, I feel like I am able to break out of the toxic cycle.
The process was extremely pleasant and I am super impressed with Kaine’s planning process. Not only is he an empathetic individual, he is also a very witty person who knows how to include funny elements at the right time. This itself has made our discussion a lot more productive and also made it very easy to understand the things that he was trying to explain to me. The most impressive thing for me was when he used so much effort to create a powerpoint slide, decorated in such a lovely and aesthetic manner, just for me as his client. This has added value to the “personal touch” process and it made me even excited to be his client because I instantly knew that he was really someone who will put in a lot of effort for his clients.
I like that Kaine’s process flows really naturally. I have spoken to countless of FAs before and they do not seem to have the patience to really want to listen and plan things together with me, rather it just feels like they are another salesperson trying to play mind games with me to sign with them - which is the reason why all of them make me felt super irritated and I just do not wish to talk to them anymore.
Kaine is very patient and sets a few meetups, video calls and constantly checks in with his clients - instead of just pushing and forcing them on the first meeting. His way of getting to know his clients first is something before actively checking in makes me feel like he just genuinely wants to help his clients, and this way it will not make his clients feel irritated to the point they just don’t wish to hear another word from him. Rather, it gives them time and space to open up and talk to Kaine like a friend before it creates a safe zone for them to be keen with the insurance that he is selling to them. His patience is admirable!
Kaine is extremely patient, empathetic, ultra friendly, trustworthy and extremely witty. I think wittiness is such a value-added skill set to a salesperson and Kaine pulls it off perfectly. I decided to go with Kaine because, unlike other FAs that I have met, he was really very genuine about wanting to help his clients and wanting to stay close with them and see them succeed in the future.
Despite us being really busy with work, Kaine has become like a friend to me and someone I really wish to see succeed in life as well. I have nothing to worry about, knowing that he is handling my insurance. :)"
